Many people share a passion for participation in the arts & community involvement, but have ‘other lives’ as parents, students, or working professionals. Barriers such as age, culture, lack of time, and perceived or actual elitism in the arts can contribute to a lack of direct participation in theatre and community involvement. Altera Vitae Productions aims to offer people in these circumstances the opportunity toparticipate in the arts & the community, and through that, to have ‘another glimpse at life’. At the same time, Altera Vitae strives for a high-calibre professional quality production, with topical and appealing subject matter marking the heart of every play. This approach means that Altera Vitae productions will reach out and appeal to diverse audiences, and will ensure that Altera Vitae theatre productions will always be associated with professional-quality entertainment.
